Member Information
Statement from our President Roger Coward I encourage you to get
involved with your Local, State and National ENA. It is also important for you to be involved with your department’s
performance improvement workgroup. Look for ways to improve processes in your work area. Come share ideas with your co-workers.
Our culture should be one of continuous improvement.
We are in one of the most demanding jobs in nursing. We never
know from shift to shift what will come through our doors, but yet we are willing to come back day in and day out to care
for patients, and lend a helping hand to our co-workers.
Many times when I ask nurses if they belong to the ENA, I
get the response "what have they done for me", I counter this with what have you done for your self. The ENA is
your voice in your county, your voice Raleigh and your voice in Washington.
Your local chapter appreciates
you for what you do, and encourages you to talk to your co-workers about becoming member.
Thanks Roger Coward
